Welcome to The Lims’ Kitchen! These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your use of our website, placement of orders, and receipt of products from The Lims’ Kitchen (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "The Lims’ Kitchen"). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your purchase.

We reserve the right to update these T&Cs at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

1. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including pricing errors or stock unavailability.
  • Prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and subject to GST where applicable. We strive to keep our premium artisanal bakes and meals accessible through fair and thoughtful pricing.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order via our accepted payment methods. We use secure third-party payment gateways and do not store your full payment card details.

2. Delivery

  • Standard Delivery: Deliveries are scheduled between 10:00am and 2:00pm on your choice of delivery date(s). Slight delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Availability: Please ensure someone is present to receive the order during the delivery window. For gift orders, we recommend informing the recipient to avoid failed deliveries.
  • Excluded Areas and Surcharges: Standard delivery excludes certain areas such as Tuas, Changi, hospital wards, and military zones—surcharges may apply. Additional charges apply for deliveries to Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
  • Specific Time Slots: Preferred hour deliveries are subject to availability and incur a delivery surcharge of $20–$25. Please contact us at orders.thelimskitchen@gmail.com to arrange. If we do not confirm a specific time, your order will be delivered within the standard window.
  • Failed Deliveries:
    • Unsuccessful deliveries (e.g., no one available to receive) will incur a redelivery fee charged by our delivery partners.
    • Redelivery is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed on the same day.
    • We are unable to replace items or issue refunds for failed deliveries.
  • Placement of Items: Our drivers are instructed not to leave items on the floor unless no alternative is available. If the driver leaves items unattended (e.g., at the gate or in an open space), The Lims’ Kitchen shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft, or spoilage due to weather, pests, or other external factors.

3. Product Freshness and Storage

  • Our bakes and products are made fresh daily without preservatives and are sensitive to Singapore’s heat and humidity.
  • For best enjoyment, consume immediately or refrigerate as soon as possible. Detailed storage and serving recommendations can be found on our Instagram or product pages.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for spoilage if items are left unrefrigerated for extended periods after delivery.

4. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled or modified up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery with no charge, subject to our confirmation.
  • Changes requested within 48 hours of delivery (including address updates) may incur additional fees.
  • For urgent address changes, please use the weblink in the order confirmation to update the details or contact us within 2 hours of placing your order.
  • Refunds are at our discretion and may be issued for defective or incorrect items, provided you notify us with photos and details within 2 hours of delivery. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, failed deliveries, or improper storage.
  • Allergen information is provided where possible, but our kitchen handles common allergens. Products are not suitable for those with severe allergies.

5. Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lims’ Kitchen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your order or delivery.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of your order.

6. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruptions, or supply issues.
